Installation Guides
JC CLUBSPORT REAR SEAT DELETES
First of all we'd like to thank you for choosing our products!
Installation of these kits require roughly 10 minutes of your time. The kits come provided with all the brackets / fixings needed to install.
Assembly of the kits requires only one tool, This being a screwdriver / Drill.
Step 1 - Preparation.
Removal of your rear seats / Removal of all brackets. ( If there is any welded brackets that cant be removed on your specific vehicle please do not remove these, We take these into account when templating the cars and produce our products around this to make everything fully reversible )
Step 2 - Kit Contents.
Next is to unpackage and lay out the contents provided within the rear seat delete kits. 90% of our Kits use a universal bracket package which consists of the following :
2 x Black L Brackets
1 x Silver L Bracket.
12 x 16mm Small gold screws
6 x 25mm Large gold screws.
2 x Black Screw Cap Heads.
2 x 12mm Plywood supports.
Various models we provide for have additional contents provided such as
50mm x 50mm Wooden support blocks
Additional screws
Additional L Brackets.
These are to help the floors sit completely level and flat front to back. You will notice if your floor has these required as our in house CNC machine marks out a square marking on the underside of the floor. Our team also provide markings on where to install the brackets for these support blocks.
Step 3 - Construction.
The Kits are extremely easy to install. Follow the example shown in the photo below.
2 Black Brackets to be used either side of the seat board to connect onto the footwell section, Space these out as wide as possible for maximum support.
1 Silver L Bracket in the centre to help with additional support.
The Wooden Ply blocks are to be spaced out as wide as possible also to allow for maximum support. Screw these into the BOOT section of the kit leaving them hanging 50% over the edge.
80% Of our floors are universally the same and should look something like this.
Step 4 - Installation.
Depending on your specific model, Whichever section has the flat wooden supports fixed too will need to be installed into the car first.
For example - The Seat section for this Audi 8P is required to have the wooden supports fixed too, This will be installed into the car first. Following this the rear boot section will be installed next. The job of the support blocks is to keep the 2 sections nice and level.
Finally, You will of been provided with some additional large screws along with some Black screw caps. Once the full kit is in place in your car, You will then screw down from the top of the floor into the wooden supports on the opposite section to fix them together. The Black caps will hide the screws from above as seen here in the centre.
